Running This Weekend

As a friendly reminder, on January 20th we emailed the team alerting you that the B.A.A. has instructed all charity partners NOT to run on the Boston Marathon course the weekend of March 25, 26 and 27. The B.A.A. shared with charity team organizers that the marathon requires many partners – local municipalities, public safety departments, and hospitals – all of whom are over-worked and under-staffed as they continue to respond to the pandemic and that these partners have asked the B.A.A. to suspend any support of organized long runs on March 26th

Please do not run anywhere on the course March 25, 26 or 27 as we all must comply with this request. Any runner who does not follow these instructions will not be allowed to participate in future Boston Marathons.

If you have any questions, please contact marathonteam@bwh.harvard.edu.

From start to finish,

Ali and Alexa

P.S. Additional details will continue to be forthcoming about race weekend as we continue to learn more from the B.A.A. Please check out emails from us and baa.org for the most up-to-date information regarding Marathon Weekend.
