The 21-mile run is finally here!

Congratulations to everyone for working together to get us across the $1,000,000 fundraising milestone! We are so proud of this amazing team and everything you are doing to turn tragedy into hope for trauma survivors everywhere.

Now…are you ready to run 21 miles tomorrow? We are ready to cheer you on from our water stop, just about 100 yards past the Newton Fire Department at 1750 Commonwealth Avenue. Remember to wear your singlet or jacket and smile for the camera as you turn onto Comm Ave. Share the flyer below with friends and family who want to join in the excitement of the day and cheer you on. Contact Caroline at 617-763-4657 with any questions.

Fundraising Tip

Be creative in your social media messaging by showing your donors how their financial contributions translate into miles. For instance, $262 translates into $10/mile, $131 represents $5/mile, and $26 is $1/mile. And remember, people LOVE seeing photos! Take selfies, snap some photos of your teammates, and tag the Stepping Strong Facebook page so we can like and share your messages.

A message from Audrey: Exciting news

Dear Stepping Strong teammates,

I look forward to seeing many of you this Saturday, March 24 for the 21-mile run. As I mentioned at our team meeting on Monday, we are 88% done with our long runs – WOOHOO! Congratulations, we are in the homestretch!

I am also excited to share the 2017-18 Stepping Strong Annual Report with you. This is a recap of all that we have accomplished over the past year at The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation, and there is so much to be proud of. The depth of my gratitude is beyond words when I see everything summarized in this report. As you will see, we are making great strides to change the lives of trauma patients and it is because of you, your supporters, and everyone who has become part of the Stepping Strong family. Please use this report to continue your fundraising efforts and share it with your donors so they know why their contributions are so important.

Thank you again.
