Marathon Monday is TOMORROW!!

Get excited because TOMORROW is the 126th Boston Marathon!! GOOD LUCK to our amazing Stepping Strong teammates! We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to cheer you on as you cross the finish line on Boylston St! Important Race Day Reminders

  1. DO NOT FORGET your bib and wristband (if you picked it up at the Pep Rally)!
  2. Head over to the Stepping Strong meeting spot at Starbucks BEFORE boarding your bus to see us, take a photo and grab your wristband for Hopkinton if you didn’t get it at the Pep Rally!
  3. Board bus on Charles Street between the Public Gardens & Boston Common to head to Hopkinton
  4. Our team photographer, Steve, will be in Hopkinton at Pan Thai Restaurant. Make sure you hug the right-hand side of the road as you head to the starting line, so you see him and smile big!

BWH Stepping Strong Cheering Zone

Make sure to tell your family and friends to stop by the Stepping Strong cheering location tomorrow. Our team photographer will be ready to snap your photo, so smile big for the camera as you run by!

Friendly reminder to hug the left side of the road after you pass the Newton Fire Station so we can grab your photo and cheer you on as you pass by the Stepping Strong tent!

  • Date: Monday, April 18
  • Time: 12pm – 4pm
  • Location:
    • Corner of Temple Street and Comm. Ave. on the carriage road
    • Put 247 Temple Street into your GPS and look for the BWH Stepping Strong tent
  • Supplies: Please bring your own food, water, chair, battery packs/ portable chargers and anything else you will need for a fun day of cheering!
  • Bathroom: Public porta johns
  • Parking/Transportation:
    • There is limited/no parking on Temple Street, as it is open to the public
    • If you are comfortable walking, Peirce Elementary School and Temple Shalom are a short walk away
    • If you take the T, Woodland is the closet stop. You will have to cross the street to get to the cheering spot and cross when there is a break in runners
    • If you are traveling by commuter rail, West Newton is the closest stop and is about a 15-minute walk
    • Comm. Ave will be closed for the Marathon

Stepping Strong Team Bag Pickup

Come to the Revere Hotel after you complete your 26.2 miles to grab your gear, change, and get a goodie bag!
